What is Balarhinos and why does it exist?

Balarhinos is more than just a Rhino plugin. It is an Architectural Intelligence Kernel combined with a high-performance Raytracing Workflow.

The system enables reactive, semantic-driven design where geometry automatically inherits meaning and relationships as it is created or modified.

Core Principle: Smart Geometry

In Balarhinos, we don't just work with points, lines, and meshes. We work with Smart Geometry.

Smart Geometry = Geometry + Semantics + Parameters + Relations

By defining what geometry IS (Semantics) and how it RELATES to other objects (Relations), we can automate complex architectural tasks and run real-time simulations that were previously slow or manual.

Key Capabilities

1. Intelligence Kernel

Balarhinos maintains a dependency graph of your model. When you move a boundary, the internal plots recalculate. When you change a building height, its urban metrics update instantly.

2. High-Performance GPU Simulation

Leveraging NVIDIA OptiX and CUDA, Balarhinos runs ray tracing simulations directly on your GPU. This enables features like Live Mode sunlight analysis, where you get heatmap feedback in real-time as you tweak your massing.

3. Reactive Systems

The plugin uses a reactive framework that ensures your model is always valid and your analysis is always up-to-date. No more waiting for "recalculate" buttons.
